We created a brand-new premises for this physiotherapy clinic by transforming an empty industrial unit. This was followed by an extension into the neighbouring industrial unit the following year.
This growing business, based in Mickleover, Derbyshire, needed premises that reflected their aspirations for the future. In the first phase of works we transformed an empty unit into a bright, modern physiotherapy clinic containing a yoga studio, consultation rooms and a massage room.
The second phase involved knocking through to the next-door unit to create more consultation rooms, a gym, and a new yoga studio.
Communication was excellent throughout our project. There were clear stages outlined and explained, and progress was communicated to us regularly. Dean and Wes are very approachable and we really trusted their professional opinion. They’re a great team and have excellent contractors working with them too.
From the stylish reception to the light-filled yoga studio and gym, the premises needed to be a warm and welcoming place for clients to visit. The owner was keen to avoid a clinical feel, instead creating a place people could feel relaxed and cared for.
Works included installation of a single tier mezzanine, plasterboard ceilings throughout, solid stud partitions, bespoke storage units and a new air-conditioning system.
